KLEIBER sponsors regional swimming assosiation and provides demo unit for scholar research center …
KLEIBER is continuously engaged to support its social and regional community. This time KLEIBER sponsors the Thuringian Swimming Association. The financial support helps the association as well as the single swimmer to be competitive. Beside that KLEIBER also helps young researchers with technical solutions for temperature measurement to run their projects. KLEIBER provides a demonstration unit KMGA 740-LO High Speed measuring station to Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürtemberg for two weeks free of charge. During this time they can take their measurements by using our equipment to solve their research tasks. .

High Speed Pyrometer for Glass and other special applications.
At the beginning of 2007 KLEIBER Infrared GmbH (MIKRON-IMPAC Group) will launch the fastest pyrometer especially for the glass industry - the brand new KLEIBER KPE 660/5. This emphasises the fact that KLEIBER is continuously expanding its High Speed portfolio to sustain its leadership in the niche market of High Speed infrared temperature measurement.
The fully digital High Speed pyrometer KPE 660/5 is applicable for measuring ranges from 30°C up to 2500°C. It measures the temperature on glass surfaces with a response time of less than 500 µs (t95) and an accuracy of ±0.4% of the measuring range. Additionally other materials like ceramic or metals can be measured at low temperatures too.
This pyrometer enables the user to measure very fast temperature processes throughout the glass industry. Because of its high accuracy and short response time the pyrometer is suitable for material development and testing in research areas.
The KPE 660/5 comes with many benefits for the user. The RS 485 interface makes the device bus compatible and up to 32 pyrometers can be installed along a production line at distances up to 1200 m. By using the optionally available software and USB interface KUI 485 (accessory) the devices can be parameterised and read out on a PC. Additionally it can be done manually using the integrated display with keyboard at the rear of the pyrometer.
Two adjustable switching outputs are another main feature of KPE 660/5, which for instance can control the maximum and minimum temperature of the measuring process. The device can be equipped with variable or macro optics, both realising very small measuring fields.
